It's been a long week. Nothing like a good book and coconut to relieve some stress ;)

I've walked past this tree everyday for the last 7 months without noticing it until today :o. The phrase "stop and smell the roses" never rang so true.

Day 29 Project 365- Frozen Yogurt Craze (29/365)

It's not Pinkberry, but its the best I've got. Frozen Yogurt in Thailand does not seem to be as big of a hit as it is in the States.

Day 28 Project 365- A toothbrush affair (28/365)

Went to the dentist today. A picture of my mouth being cleaned wasn't the most pleasant picture, so I came up with this little idea while brushing my teeth at home.

Finally found proper Chinese New Year decorations to take a picture of. Taken on the steps of Siam Paragon.

Played "Magic the Gathering" for the first time in eight years with some old friends. Also my first picture using my newest flash sync cable SC-28.

Went to the used book store around Khao San. Picked up Lord of the Flies for 100 baht.

Bought my first กระเช้า (gift basket). It's a OTOP themed basket with all products produced by local micro enterprises.

Day 3 Project 365- Modernize (3/365)

Went to the Bangkok Art and Culture Center. Painting series pictured is quite ingenious. The first painting on the far right compares Barbie and a traditional rural woman. As you continue walking along the series of paintings, the rural woman turns into Barbie.

New Years Resolution

My New Years Resolution for 2009 is to simply become a better photographer. In order to keep that promise to myself, I'm going to be participating in Project 365 where I will be posting one picture everyday for the next 365 days.
